New Features, New Team Members, New Focus

Greetings Reuse Fans,

Having said farewell to Ben last week, this week we introduce two new managers of our donation pickup service. Ben grew the operation so much that in replacing him, the decision was taken to create two positions, one to specialize in supporting the on-going operations, and the other to specialize in finding new donors.

Greg, primarily responsible for the logistics of running our pickup service, has a thorough knowledge of our customers, donors and products from his five years at CJ. Starting out on a work experience project with Goodwill, Greg was offered a position in the warehouse and store. From there, he earned promotion to Lead Retail Warehouse Associate, helping guide other staff with his knowledge and experience of working in the store. Last year, Greg earned another promotion to Donation & Logistics Coordinator – driving our trucks and doing pickups all around the greater Pittsburgh area. When Ben decided to move on to pastures new, Greg’s thorough knowledge of all aspects of CJ’s operations, and his commitment to our mission earned him another promotion, to Donation & Logistics Manager.

Greg says he’s “looking forward to keeping our pickup services running efficiently, and to building and maintaining relationships with existing and new donors, to bring even more materials here to make sure CJ continues to be an asset to the community.” Got a donation? You can email Greg here.

Jeffrey will specialize in outreach for our pickup service, and will be working closely with Terry, our Community Outreach Coordinator, to identify and meet with potential new donors. Jeffrey’s resume includes experience as a floral designer and delivery driver, and several positions of a customer-oriented nature, together with administrative duties. Greg and Jeffrey will work closely with one another to ensure the best experience for all our generous donors, and to build relationships with new donors.
