Attention CJ shoppers – we wanted to update everyone that our text line help feature is no longer active. As our retail staff have had to focus on operating while short-staffed and on-boarding new employees, the unpredictable nature of the text line has been something that they can’t keep up with on a regular basis. Despite the clear designation of this service as text message only, this line frequently receives calls and has seen unpredictable bouts of activity that the limited staff have found themselves unable to attend to timely.
Our eventual goal is to implement a chat function to the CJ website. We had hoped to transition away from the text line to a website-based service that would allow for better communication with specific departments here at CJ and give our staff the ability to manage when the service is active and available so as to avoid the confusion and frustrations on both our end and customers. As we currently do not have that function ready yet, and with a recent uptick of direct messages on social media showing that the text line is now no longer providing a convenient and helpful service on a regular basis, we needed to go ahead and address the best ways to contact us here at CJ.
If you have questions regarding available items in the store, please use our main phone line at 412.243.5025 x10 or email customerservice@cjreuse.org.
PLEASE BE AWARE:
Our front register phone can only be answered when customer service staff are not actively helping shoppers. Please leave a voice message and we’ll do our best to get back to you as quickly as possible. The customer service email works the same way. Any questions or requests that we receive will be answered as soon as possible, but there will be a wait time. Please do not attempt to use a different department to reach someone regarding retail store questions. Trying different extensions until someone answers is not going to get you the service you want. If you are looking to contact our donations or deconstruction department, email is the best way to do so. All contact info is listed on our Donate and Contact pages.
For information regarding the City of Pittsburgh recycling area located here in the upper lot, please visit the city site.
Construction Junction does not operate this recycling drop off and can’t provide any details regarding what is accepted there. The recycling area is only accessible during regular CJ hours of operations. Our lot is gated and locked during off hours.
