Greetings reuse fans,
Things have been hopping at CJ – new staff, new hours, loads of donations and deconstruction projects. We deeply appreciate your continued support of our mission and we continue to operate safely and efficiently.
Our deconstruction team completed the full deconstruction of the UMWA training center in Washington PA. This was a very challenging job and we appreciate the commitment of Brian Swearingen, our deconstruction manager, and the assistance of the South Hilltop job trainees. All of the lumber, plywood sheathing, and framed wall panels were the “reuse fruits” of our labor.
Our donation pickup crew also assisted to bring in some high end kitchen and bath sets from a kitchen remodeling business that redid their showroom. These sets were obviously never used and are of excellent quality. It is unusual for CJ to have this kind of high end cabinetry.
Thank you for supporting reuse,
Mike Gable
