Greetings Reuse Fans,
I just wanted to take a moment to thank all our supporters for a good solid month of Reuse at CJ. We had great sales to support our operation and programs and strong donations coming in the facility!
Also, we had a great response to our customer and donor survey that we wrapped up in October. Over 800 participants responded! We will be using the data to help construct a strategic plan for CJ operations over the next 3 to 5 years. We will share the survey results with you as we determine the best means to get the important information out to everyone. We are learning a ton about what we are doing well, the improvements we need to make and what additional programing you would like to see us do!
Finally, just a quick shout out of appreciation to all the folks in North Point Breeze and Homewood who came to the community meeting at CJ last night. The meeting, hosted by the URA, was to begin the process of soliciting ideas and priorities to be incorporated into the upcoming URA Request for Proposals (RFP) to develop the Lexington Technology Park site. The 16 acre site runs along the north side of CJ’s building and the East side – most people know this as the site of the old Rockwell building-located at 400 N. Lexington. Check the URA’s website for more details on the timing of the RFP. CJ will also keep our customers and donors posted as the process continues over the next 2 months.
Enjoy your extra hour of sleep Saturday night, and come rested to shop and donate on Sunday!
