2021 Big Pour tickets on sale

Greetings craft beer fans,

We are excited to announce that tickets for Construction Junction’s annual Steel City Big Pour fundraiser go on sale today!

We would like to share a few critical event details with you prior to your decision to support our mission with your ticket purchase. We are scaling the event back to make it safer and easier to manage, consequently the Big Pour will be a one session only event on October 16^th from 5:00 to 8:00! We are in the process of confirming the 30 brewers and 10 food partners that will be the main drivers of the event. This is a reduced number from previous years. The event layout will cover a larger footprint of the entire CJ facility to create the required social distance between vendors in spaces both inside our warehouse, retail floor and outside in the parking lot. And the most important addition:

Entry will be dependent on showing proof of vaccination and/or proof of a negative COVID test within 48 hours of event entry.

Tickets are $99 and everyone will receive a T-shirt. We will have craft vendors, art and music, but it will look a little different. We are still working on the details. Make sure to check out the Big Pour page for updates on vendors and more. A big change for 2021 is the presence of Rockwell Park as the Big Pour’s presenting sponsor. If you have not been to CJ for a while you may not be aware of the renovation of the existing warehouse buildings around Construction Junction. You can see many details of the Rockwell Park plan on their website. In 2022, the Big Pour footprint is looking to expand into this creative adaptive reuse development! The Big Pour will also feature the cool work being done in our neighborhood to commemorate the 175th anniversary of the birth of George Westinghouse!

The Big Pour (or perhaps I should say, slightly less big) is back! It’s been over 2 years since our last Big Pour event and CJ appreciates the support the community has provided in that time, especially since reopening our store for in-person shopping in May of 2020. Joining us, safely, for the Big Pour helps grow our capacity to promote more reuse, deconstruction and jobs!
