Beer, food, art, music & more – our yearly fundraiser is a good time for a good cause!
While we currently only display a sample of reuse items for sale on our website, Construction Junction has thousands of reuse items available to purchase in our 30,000 square foot warehouse. Stop in today to see our full inventory!
Wondering how to get rid of old stuff without sending it to a landfill? Construction Junction makes recycling easy! From metals to appliances, we give your items a second life, helping you to reduce waste and support Pittsburgh’s sustainability efforts.
Construction Junction is Pittsburgh’s nonprofit champion for conservation. Through reclaiming and selling used building materials, we reduce waste, support sustainable building practices, and provide affordable options—bringing environmental and social value to our community.

The 16th Steel City Big Pour fundraiser will be held on Saturday, October 7th, 2023

We are currently recruiting food vendors to participate in the event. If you aren’t familiar, the Big Pour is an all-inclusive sampling event. Vendors are not selling food, but providing small plate tastings for attendees to try. Paid stipend provided.
For info about being a food vendor please email Terry Wiles.
We are also looking for interested artists for live art demonstrations during the event. live-art demonstrations that work with CJ inventory or other sources of reusable materials. We get particularly excited about large pieces that can be assembled on site and we seem to be amassing a collection of animals, including a fish, duck, raccoon, and the space monkey!
If you’re interested in presenting live art at the event, please email Mike Gable for info.

Yearly Big Pour fundraisers have create the equivalent of over an entire extra month’s worth of revenue to help make so many things possible at CJ that we would not otherwise be able to accomplish, including our deconstruction program and job training programs.
All proceeds from the sale of Steel City Big Pour tickets and merchandise go to supporting the mission and operation of Construction Junction. The Big Pour is a huge part of raising much needed funds for our organization. Thanks to everyone who supports this event and all it has grown since 2007!
All go to support Construction Junction and our mission of conservation, reuse and a circular economy!
