Big Pour 12 Reuse Project Contest

Greetings Reuse Fans,

It’s time to show us your reuse! Pull out your phones (or just a plain old camera) and document your inspired reuse project to enter our contest!

As many of you know, for the last 8 years, as part of our annual fundraiser, The Steel City Big Pour, CJ has partnered with our friends at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette to hold a contest to choose the best examples of reuse in home renovation and art work.

If you are one of the top three selected by our panel of distinguished judges in either of the categories, you will win a pair of tickets to the Big Pour, and your masterpiece of reuse will be prominently featured in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, at the PG’s booth at the Big Pour, and on CJ’s website.

Don’t miss out on the opportunity for fame and glory! Here’s how to enter:

Provide your name, phone number, email address and mailing address;
Indicate which category you are entering (home renovation or art);
In 250 words or less, describe the motivation behind your project and how it was achieved.
Email up to 10 photos of your project. Include caption information at the end of the essay. It will not count against the 250-word limit
Email all entry information to kkirkland@post-gazette.com and mgable@cjreuse.org.
Entry deadline is Midnight, Wednesday, Sept. 5
