Have Fun at the 15th Handmade Arcade

Greetings Reuse Fans,

We strongly encourage you to stop by and check out the Handmade Arcade at the Convention Center today and tomorrow. Missy Mongelli, our COO and General Manager will be there selling 20^th Anniversary CJ T-shirts and her homemade neckies to keep you warm when you shop or buy your holiday tree at CJ next week. (A portion of each sale goes to CJ.)

This will be the 15^th anniversary of Handmade Arcade in Pittsburgh. CJ is proud to have served as the home of this marketplace for local crafters, makers, and artists in each of the first 4 years! The first three years we provided space for free and the event grew and developed a larger following. The final year of Handmade Arcade over 6,000 people went through CJ in a single day. CJ is big, but even we have our limits! The success of Handmade Arcade planted the seed for the creation of the Steel City Big Pour as we were able to experience handling a very large crowd of people in our warehouse. In the 2007, we did our first Big Pour and hosted our last Handmade Arcade… but that was back when we were much younger with an added dash of foolishness.

So 15 years later for Handmade Arcade and 20 years for CJ, our missions remain connected. Earlier this year, we hosted a spring mini version of Handmade Arcade that brought 1,800 people through our door and supported a smaller group of crafters/makers!
