Greeting Reuse Fans!
Yes we pick up at contractor’s job sites! Free of charge!
We need your help because this message cannot be communicated enough. During the last week, we had a very positive meeting with a North Hills kitchen contractor who does beautiful work! But he did not realize that Construction Junction would pick up materials at his job sites. As a result of our conversation, we realized that on more than one occasion he ended up sending high quality used kitchen cabinets to the landfill, which he did not want to do. That is a cost to his customer and a missed opportunity for someone to benefit from reuse. We understand that space is expensive and contractors who are working to complete projects cannot afford to store quality used materials, or to spend lots of time finding those materials a good home. That’s what CJ is set up to do!

He is onboard and will be calling us to come to his job sites to pick up those kitchens that he has removed. He will be able to save his client’s money, and connect them with the opportunity both for a tax deduction and to support CJ’s reuse mission. He was as enthusiastic about the opportunity to use CJ services as we are to provide them! So please, spread the word…
Happy Earth Month!
We were hoping to start Earth Month with better weather! We hope you will brave the weather and come in to see the good stuff going on at CJ this weekend – Stormworks and PittMoss will be holding demos of their products, and Handy Andy will be demonstrating and sharing information about HydroBlox. Check it all out on our calendar.
And why not try something completely different? Come see a piano concert at CJ with a new twist on reusing materials. Chamber Music Pittsburgh presents Amy Williams, Tuesday April 12, at 7:00p, tickets required, pay as you wish.
