Celebrating 10 Years of Big Pours!
Greetings reuse & Big Pour fans!
Big Pour 10 is a unique mix of over 150 craft beers from 50 breweries with food and beverages from 26 of Pittsburgh’s leading restaurants and cafes, not to mention our live art. You too can enjoy the Big Pour, as we still have some tickets to Session 1 (12:00-3:00 pm), available here; some may also be available at the door on Saturday.
The good news for our regular customers … when CJ re-opens on Monday, Sept. 12th at 9:00 am, you will find the store stocked to overflowing! In my 10 years of Big Pours I have never seen better stuff coming into the warehouse!
Meanwhile, it’s crunch time!
- The store, lot and all recycling services close at 4pm today, Friday the 9th, and re-open Monday the 12th at 9:00 am.
- We will NOT be able to answer the phone or do sales by phone during this time, please wait till Monday.
- Beginning September 12th all our regular policies regarding 7 day storage will be in full swing.
To our many regular customers, the Big Pour may cause you inconvenience (thanks for your patience!), but it provides vital support to fill the gap between what sales bring in and what it costs to keep CJ operations running 7 days a week. In fact, it’s so popular that it also supports training programs for people with barriers to employment. It also helps create tremendous visibility for our mission, and keeps materials flowing into CJ!
