We also have another new product at CJ in significant quantity called Novabrik. Novabrik is a mortarless brick siding system. The high strength concrete bricks overlap and interlock to create a strong, water resistant brick veneer. It is basically used like vinyl siding, but made from actual cast concrete. We recommend you visit the company’s web site for information about installation, as well as how-to videos. There are many instructional videos on Youtube as well. This is donated surplus product from a local building product distributor. We have a variety of the field brick, wainscot caps, some outer corner bricks and bullnose.

While we don’t have the pieces you need to attach the brick to the structure (and that’s an important part), you can find those products at your local big box store! It might seem complicated at first, but will a little time familiarizing yourself with the system, you may see that this product can work for you! Look for a demo display at CJ soon.

It’s a big weekend for supporting Reuse at CJ! First this is the last weekend you have to buy Reuse Enthusiast Tickets for CJ’s 11^th annual Steel City Big Pour fundraiser! We have 52 brewers, 25 food vendors and a new Monmade marketplace (featuring small businesses doing beer related products) lined to make this an exceptional Big Pour experience! Get ready!! Our very first Kickoff Party is happening this Sunday at Couch Brewery and general admission tickets go on sale Monday at high Noon! Thanks to our new partner the Sustainable Pittsburgh Restaurants project for helping to lineup some new food offerings. The Big Pour helps support CJ, allows us to grow our mission, gives us the ability to expand job training projects and helps with our operating expenses!
